Yet another come back from 2-0 down to win the match 3-2. Not really keen on making it a habit though. Very pleased with the result obviously, and squash wise it was not bad, but at some stages just not sharp enough.
First game was really tight up to 9-9, then I had one game ball, David came back well to win the game 12-10. The second was a bit similar, only he got a two point lead in the middle and finished the game 11-9. In the third I found my range, not hitting that hard, but just placing the ball a bit more. It seemed to work, I won the third and fourth game 11-6. The fifth he started to fire all his shots at me, hitting most of them gave him a 9-4 lead. Point by point I started to get back and all of a sudden I was 10-9 up. Yet he hit another good shot to level it 10-10, on my third match ball I got him, an amazing feeling after such a battle.
My roommates Bart and Steve both won their matches, so a good result for all of us! Tomorrow I will play the #1 seed Joe Lee from England at 10 in the morning. Never played him before, so not sure what to expect. For now all I can do is eat, stretch and sleep. Adios..
